Product & Technology

How exactly does RoomTouch® work?
The guest selects their status on the tablet in the room: Do not disturb, Clean or Refill only. Housekeeping sees all room statuses in real time on a central tablet. Reception always has an overview of the current status of all rooms – without any back-and-forth queries.
Do we need a PMS integration?
No. RoomTouch® is fully cloud-based and works independently of your existing hotel management system. No IT department, no complicated integration – simply switch on and use.
What do we need technically?
Just a stable Wi-Fi connection in the rooms and at reception. We check this during the on-site installation and give you feedback if any adjustments are needed.
In which languages is RoomTouch® available?
The guest interface is available in German, French, Italian and English. The guest selects their language directly on the tablet in the room.

Installation & Support

How long does installation take?
Installation typically takes a few hours – depending on the size of the hotel. We come to your property personally, install everything and train your team directly on site. RoomTouch® is ready to use the same day.
What happens if a tablet is defective?
Device replacement is included in every plan. Contact us and we will arrange a replacement as quickly as possible. No ticket system, no call centre – personal support directly from Switzerland.
Who is our contact person?
You always have a direct contact person at Citrini Hotel- & Gastroinformatik. No anonymous support system – we know your hotel and your situation personally.

Costs & Contract

How does the pricing model work?
You pay a monthly rental fee per room – between CHF 15.– and CHF 18.– per room depending on hotel size. A one-time installation fee is also charged. All tablets, software, updates and support are included. No hidden costs.
How long is the minimum term?
The minimum term is 12 months. After that the contract is cancellable monthly with one month's notice. We want to convince – not lock you in.
Is RoomTouch® really worth it?
In a typical 80-room hotel, monthly operating costs are CHF 1'280.–. The typical saving from fewer unnecessary room trips and better planning is approx. CHF 2'700.– per month – a net added value of approx. CHF 1'420.– monthly. We are happy to calculate this individually for your hotel.
